As part of ongoing efforts to strengthen library services across campus and make the best use of our shared spaces, performing arts library resources are transitioning from Arnhold Hall to new locations January 2026.

The Performing Arts Library, formerly located on the second and ninth floors of Arnhold Hall, is being integrated into The New School’s broader library system rather than operating as a separate branch. All performing arts materials, expertise, and research support remain available to our community alongside the full range of services The New School Libraries provide.
