What Do I Have Access To?

PC laptops can be checked out for up to 8 hours at the University Center Library.

Reserve collaboration rooms in two of our Library locations: the University Center or the List Center Library.

B&W printing and high quality color scanning available in all Library locations. Alumni, Guests, and Visiting Scholars will need to purchase a print card.

Online assistance 10 am to 5 pm. Open for in-person research visits by appointment only. Contact the archives at archivist@newschool.edu for details.

Access to WiFi while in Library locations is provided by New School IT. Any issues with WiFi on campus should be reported to New School IT.

iMacs are available in the List Center Library & University Center Library for anyone with building access.

Borrowing privileges from all The New School Library locations including Inter-Library Loans.

Access to Library Electronic Materials including databases, journals, and newspapers while off campus.

Access to Library Electronic Materials including databases, journals, and newspapers while on campus and using The New School wireless or wired internet.

Borrowing privileges at NY Consortium Libraries: the Cooper Union Library, NYU’s Bobst Library, New York School of Interior Design Library, and the New York Academy of Art.
