Reserves are required course readings--both physical and digital--that instructors make available through Canvas or any of The New School Libraries' locations [library.newschool.edu/hours.php]. Most types of material can be placed on reserve--books, e-books, book chapters, periodical articles, videos, scores. Placing materials on reserve ensures that they are covered under fair use or cleared for copyright as well as meet accessibility guidelines.
