Finding Books

A 30-minute workshop on identifying and retrieving all formats of books in the New School Libraries, our consortium, in New York City, and beyond through our Interlibrary Loan service. We’ll find particular books, but also learn how to do subject-area searching and browsing and talk about evaluating the authority of material. We’ll also look at free, borrowable scanned books before discovering how to get access to e-books through our libraries and elsewhere. Please bring (optional): Course syllabi, or other sources for desired books for us to use as examples.
