Rosa Ponselle (January 22, 1897-May 25, 1981) was an American soprano. She spent the majority of her 21-year career at the Metropolitian Opera. The Rosa Ponselle Collection contains her personal scores from ca. 1922-1927. They are signed, dated, and annotated by Ponselle and others who were using them around that time.

Risë Stevens arrangements collection

Rise Stevens (June 11, 1913-2013) was a mezzo soprano, actress, and a music administrator. She served as Dean of Mannes in the 1970’s. The Rise Stevens collection contains scores of works that she sang. Some are unique arrangements composed especially for her.

Arthur Waldeck papers related to Heinrich Schenker

Arthur Waldeck (1899-1965) was an important voice teacher in New York City in the 1940s and 1950s. He maintained a studio at Carnegie Hall, and was notoriously systematic in his pedagogical approach. The collection consists of Waldeck's letters to and from renowned music theorist Heinrich Schenker (1868-1935), as well as Waldeck's translations into English and heavily annotated versions of Schenker's work.
