Scope and Contents of Collection
The collection consists of Burton Schuman's class assignments for a third-year advertising design course at Parsons School of Design taught by faculty member Betty M. Carter between September 1947 and January 1948. Visiting critic William A. Adriance, art director for Brooke, Smith, French & Dorrance, Inc., also provided instruction.
