Roselaine Boylan Carpenter studied in the Graphic Advertising and Illustration Department of the New York School of Fine and Applied Art (now, Parsons The New School for Design) around 1929-1930.
Scope and Contents of Collection
The collection is comprised of five student assignments possibly executed for a third year advertising design class. The assignments consist of illustrated advertising displays for the Grayline Tours bus company, Jell-O, Bloomingdale's department store, and Lord & Taylor. Artwork is executed in tempera and watercolor.
