Return Scherman books to the circulation desk on or before the due date stamped in the back of the book. Return books to the lobby drop box when the Library is closed during August.
Circulating audiovisual materials should be returned to a library employee ONLY during library's operational hours. Do NOT put materials into the bookdrop containers outside or inside the library. Charges may apply.

Faculty may inquire at the Circulation Desk about mail renewal services. Convenient ways to renew books: You can renew books without having the books in hand. Stop by the Circulation Desk with your valid student I.D. and we'll renew your books (except Reserves and 2-hour-loan items).
You can also renew books over the telephone or over the Web. Have your student ID in hand, because your barcode number & student ID number will be needed.

|
| Placing Library Holds on Returned Materials |
If you cannot locate a book
on the shelf, check in BOBCAT,
the online catalog, to see if someone else
has borrowed the book. If the book is on
loan, you may recall the item via BOBCAT
to be held for you when it is returned. When
the book comes back, we will notify you and
hold the book for you at the Circulation
Desk.
|
| Change of Address |
Since you are obligated to respond to overdue, recall, and fine notices, please inform the Library of any change of address and/or telephone changes. YOU ARE LIABLE FOR FINES AND PROCESSING FEES WHETHER OR NOT MAILED NOTICES OR BILLS ARE RECEIVED.
|
| Library Assisted Searches for Materials |
If you cannot locate a book
on the shelf even though the BobCat status
is "Available", the Circulation Desk will
search for the book at your request. If we
locate the book, we will notify you, and
hold the book at the Circulation Desk. If
the book cannot be located, the library may
be able to secure another copy of the book
through Inter-Library Loan (ILL).
