Ad*Access: An Archive of U.S. & Canadian Print Ads (Duke University)
Presents images and information for more than 7,000 advertisements printed primarily in the United States from 1911 to 1955. Material is drawn from the J. Walter Thompson Company Competitive Advertisements Collection of the John W. Hartman Center for Sales, Advertising, and Marketing History at Duke University. The advertisements are divided into five main subjects areas: Radio; Television; Transportation; Beauty and Hygiene; and World War II.

ADFLIP: An Archive of Classic Print Ads
This archive provides access to more than 6,000 print advertisements published from 1940 to the present. Products advertised, including everything from dog food to DeSotos, are divided into 17 search categories, from automotive to travel, and eight themed categories such as comic books and obsolete products. The site may be searched by year, product type, and brand name. Derivation and publication details are provided. Coverage: 1940's - Present

is an online repository of digital images and related data which document artistic traditions across many times and cultures and embraces architecture, painting, sculpture, photography, decorative arts, and design as well as many other forms of visual culture. ARTStor gathers these images from several source collections which are the product of collaborations with libraries, museums, photographic archives, publishers, slide libraries, and individual scholars.

consists of over 100,000 total images representing a wide array of photos and maps, with an emphasis on world news and events. Other areas of coverage include contemporary and historical photos of people, places and the natural kingdom. Image categories are broken down as follows:

Fashion Design History Database
The images that comprise the Fashion Design History Database reflect the metamorphosis of women's fashion from the 1920s through the 1970s. Exploring themes of functionality and form, the designers whose work is represented in the database demonstrate the ways in which fashion has evolved along with women's changing roles. |

This digital archive provides hundreds of fashion plates scanned from fashion journals from the early 19th through early 20th century. Images are arranged by period Empire, Georgian, Regency, Romantic, Victorian, Late Victorian and Edwardian. |
