The New School Archives & Special Collections serves as a central resource for those seeking to learn about the history of the university. We collect inactive, historically significant records from all New School academic and administrative offices, as well as from alumni and former faculty.

If you are responsible for creating or keeping academic and office records, we'd like to work with you! Your contributions enable us to provide researchers with a rich, complex picture of the pedagogical and operational evolution of the school.

Please feel free to contact us with any questions—we’re more than happy to meet with you in your office to discuss and review your records, and are pleased to help arrange for material to be transferred to the archives.
